I recently had Wesley, with Sierra Madre Landscape, build an 80’ retaining wall along the length of my backyard with fantastic results.   You see  dozens of local landscapers that hold themselves out as specialists in residential landscaping, but it’s very difficult to know the quality and care of the work that they will do until they begin work.  Not so with Sierra Madre Landscape.  From the moment that I first made contact with Wesley on my project, he was prompt and helpful in ascertaining my needs, working with a recommended product that I had in mind, and providing me with a reasonable quote on the work to be performed.  Because Sierra Madre Landscape is in high demand, you may not be able to start your project the very next week, but if he gives you a date, he will stick to it. In our case, I requested an adjustment to the original start date by 1 day, and he was able to accommodate us and still finish the project ahead of schedule with outstanding results.

One of the things that sets Sierra Madre Landscape, and Wesley, apart from the rest of the landscaping companies is that he uses very courteous and hardworking English speaking workers that are meticulous in the quality of work they’re doing without you needing to watch over them.  They don’t leave trash laying around the job site at the end of the day, and they are able to overcome minor challenges that they may encounter without stopping work.  With our wall, we had a specific requirement not to harm any roots of a neighboring tree.  During the excavation process of the wall, when roots were encountered, Wesley and his team developed a plan to circumvent the roots by adjusting the excavation around the roots and changing the path of the wall to ensure “zero impact” to our neighbor’s tree.  When the project was complete, we still met the desired objectives of the original retaining wall and ensured that no harm was done to the surrounding area without sacrificing the integrity of the wall.  Excellent work.
